The Keyword FIT

This will cause the program to run though the fitting part of the program, by default it is true, so may be ignored. It is, however, possible to specify NOFIT in a command line, to run LONGSLIT in batch without performing fits (or just to skip the middle part of the program when running interactively) e.g.:

% longslit t1 repeat table nofit

This will produce a table of the fit results. It may be used for other output options (except RATIO), e.g.:

% longslit t1 repeat print table plot hardcopy nofit vcorr=10

In batch correction may be made for the Earth's motion by using the parameter VCORR as above, this will be subtracted from the radial velocities calculated.
