Using the iterate method

When using makemap with the iterate option, the following parameters and options have to applied:

• Create a configuration file, e.g. config.lis, containing all the required parameters listed in the form `keyword=value'. The configuration parameters are summarized in Table and the default values are shown in the third column. A default configuration file is located at $STARLINK/share/smurf/dimmconfig.lis.
• Set the METHOD parameter to ITERATE.
• Set the correct pixel size for the observed wavelength using the PIXSIZE parameter.
• If necessary, set the co-ordinate system using the SYSTEM parameter.

To make the map:

makemap in=^input.lis out=mapname method=iterate config=^config.lis \
        pixsize=value
